WWETT — the Water & Wastewater Equipment, Treatment & Transport Show — is the world's largest annual trade show for wastewater and environmental service professionals. Here's what to expect from the show itself, and what Hero Johns will look like when we're there.
WWETT traces back to 1979, when a small trade newsletter for Midwest septic haulers grew into a regional trade show, then a national one, and eventually — after several name changes reflecting an industry that kept expanding — became the WWETT Show in 2015. Today it's recognized as one of the largest trade shows in the country across any industry, earning Trade Show Executive's Gold 100 Award in 2024.
Every February, thousands of wastewater, septic, sewer, plumbing, and portable sanitation professionals converge on Indianapolis for four days of live product demos, accredited education, and industry networking — and it's where Hero Johns is choosing to make its public debut.
WWETT maintains a dedicated attendee track and expo hall sections specifically for portable sanitation professionals — the exact audience Hero Johns is built to serve and recruit from.
The 315,000+ sq ft expo hall includes areas tailored specifically to portable sanitation units, accessories, and waste management solutions — not a general wastewater afterthought.
Attendees see live demonstrations of portable sanitation equipment in action — exactly the kind of hands-on moment Hero Johns' PolyJohn-equipped booth is built for.
100+ accredited sessions cover regulations, innovation, and best practices — including content aimed specifically at portable sanitation operators.
A direct line to other portable sanitation professionals and industry leaders — the network Hero Johns franchisees will be part of from day one.
